Former Escape to the Country's Jonnie Irwin has given fans a "back to work" update as he reveals what he's been up to. Jonnie, has been producing films for the daytime show Morning Live on BBC1 with the last one leaving viewers emotional as he revealed 'gut-wrenching’ plans to keep his memory alive for his family after he’s gone.

During an episode of BBC's Morning Live earlier this month, Jonnie spoke of leaving messages, pictures and videos for family after he's gone. "I've got a lifetime of memories, and over the years, more and more of them have been stored online," he said.

One of the ways he's hoping to keep his legacy alive is by narrating and producing films for the daytime show on BBC1. In a recent Instagram post, Jonnie is seen sitting in a broadcast studio at the BBC, working on his next film.

Jonnie wrote: "Voicing another short film for @bbcmorninglive . Lots of screens and keyboards in this broadcast studio. Makes me appreciate how complicated being a radio DJ must be. "Hats off to my DJ homies; @nickichappers @toby_tarrant @sonalishah . #onset" One person commented: Bet your chuffed to be working Jonnie long May it continue, sending lots of love to you and your beautiful family." A second person wrote: "Looking so well, Jonnie - keep it up - we need you to stay," as a third added: "Keep on doing what you love doing." It comes after Jonnie revealed he's "trying to starve the tumour" by following the words of author, and his mentor Jane Mclelland.
