Emmerdale star turned down another acting role for ITV soap return after six years

With unresolved issues lingering, Ross' comeback is set to rekindle old emotions and spark fresh conflicts. Discussing his Emmerdale comeback, Michael Parr, who plays Ross, disclosed that he passed up other roles to come back to the soap.
The 38-year-old actor shared insights into his return, saying: "It wasn't necessarily a shock. The acting industry had been quite quiet due to the writer strikes and stuff, and I had some work on the horizon." He continued: "So when they called, it came at a great time.
