You couldn't get two more opposite storylines as a big day at court and a proposal are both on the cards in Emmerdale next week.

It starts with Marlon Dingle who struggles to get his wife Rhona to take her mind off her upcoming day in court as she dreads facing her kidnap charges.

The day arrives and they’re soon called in for the trial. It's not long before Gus begins to twist the narrative as a horrified Rhona watches on.

But soon, Rhona’s defence fights back when they begin to question Gus’ good character and when Vanessa Woodfield prepares to take the stand, Rhona hopes the tide is beginning to turn but will Vanessa be caught out by the prosecution’s questions?
