Emmerdale airs harrowing death as character ‘killed off’ in flashforward - but not Belle

Belle is left speechless when she learns that Tom and Amelia have been dating for several weeks. Struggling with her feelings towards her abuser, Belle imagines various scenarios playing out in the village, including one where she gives Tom another chance.
In scenes aired this Thursday (September 5), Belle also considers the chilling possibility that Tom's behaviour could turn deadly, amid theories he may have even killed his own mother Colleen King.
In one scenario, Belle was finally able to move on from the abuse she suffered, but Amelia was still firmly under Tom's grasp as her daughter Esther grew into a schoolgirl, unaware of the torment her mother was going through.
