Education unions praise Lanarkshire pupils on exam results day

Education unions have praised pupils and teachers as students in Lanarkshire and across Scotland receive their exam results.Grades for courses including Highers, Advanced Highers and Nationals were confirmed this morning, with candidates receiving their results by text message, email and the traditional posted certificate.Teachers’ representatives also highlighted Holyrood plans to reform the exams system, following the recommendations of the Hayward review – with the EIS calling for “bold and innovative change”.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
