EastEnders' well-loved actress Sylvia Syms, who graced screens as Olive Woodhouse in the renowned BBC soap from 2007 to 2010, has bequeathed more than one million pounds following her death early last year.
Renowned for her BAFTA-nominated performances and roles in other classic shows like Peak Practice and At Home with the Braithwaites, Sylvia died in January 2023, aged 89, just a mere three weeks after her birthday celebration.
Hailed as the Grand Dame of British Cinema, the actress relished a vibrant film career beginning in the mid-1950s and continuing until the mid-1960s.
Recently disclosed details reveal that the celebrated star left behind a £1.43 million legacy, including donations to acting schools and charities.
