EastEnders fans 'work out' Rose Knight twist - and it's 'not Cindy Beale'

As the identity of the mysterious Rose Knight creeps ever closer to being revealed, EastEnders fans have excitedly been sharing their theories about who it could possibly be.

On Tuesday’s instalment of the popular BBC soap, Callum Highway was left more than a little rattled, after the police search he was conducting into the identity of the mystery woman hit more than a few roadblocks, with the file deemed classified and inaccessible on the police database.The search came after his father-in-law Phil Mitchell asked him to look into Rose and her estranged husband George, but while he could access George’s file without a problem, Rose’s was completely locked and his access was denied.

To make matters worse, Callum was later reprimanded for looking into Rose Knight at all, with his superiors warning him to “forget her name” lest he face serious repercussions.This prompted many fans to suspect she was under police protection and likely an informant.

Since rumours first began swirling around Rose’s identity, many fans have predicted that she will soon be revealed to be Cindy Beale, a Walford favourite who had previously been presumed dead. "Rose's files are denied because she is in witness protection and is CINDY BEALE!" one fan suggested, whilst another penned: "Access Denied.
