East Kilbride 'in control' of Lowland League games, but boss wants more goals

East Kilbride boss Mick Kennedy says his side have been in almost total control of Lowland League games, but wants more goals.Kennedy reckons Kilby could be winning games more convincingly, with their 2-1 win over East Stirling on Saturday a case in point.The K-Park side are joint-second in the Lowland League with 10 points from four games, and level on plus-nine goal difference with Hearts ‘B’.Kennedy is pleased with progress, but wants more firepower.“We’re dominating massive parts of games and that’s pleasing, because that’s how we want to set out and play,” he said.“We dropped points at University of Stirling, but we’ve been in control in nearly every game we’ve played – we just need to get a better conversion rate of opportunities.“In the four games we’ve played in the league we’re lucky if teams have had five clear-cut chances.“We’re playing well and scoring goals, but we’re still finding our feet, because it’s so early on.“We’ll get stronger and fitter as we go along, the longer the group is together the better we will become, but I don’t think we could have asked for anything more than what we’ve got so far.”Kennedy was pleased with another win on Saturday, with goals from Callum Biggar and Adam McGowan, but said: “I wasn’t particularly happy in the end up.“We dominated large parts of the game but the amount of opportunities we missed – particularly in the second half – would have made it a bit more comfortable.“I don’t think there was any doubt that we deserved to win it, but I think we became a bit complacent.“For large spells we had loads of comfortable possession, and then in maybe the last 10-15 minutes at 1-0, East Stirling had a wee bit more of a go at it.“But we should have been a lot more comfortable in
