Dreaded delay in lift replacement programme for Motherwell tower block confirmed

A dreaded delay to a key lift replacement programme at a tower block in Motherwell has been confirmed by North Lanarkshire Council.

In January, work commenced to upgrade the even lift at Lodge Tower in Muirhouse and the aim was to have it back in working order by early May.The lift for the even numbered properties at the tower was removed from service early in the New Year after parallel works to replace the odd lift had been completed.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
