Legal experts explained to the outlet that Diddy was currently viewed as a “subject.” If he was referred to as a “target” then “prosecutors likely intend to seek an indictment from the grand jury against the person.” At this time, he “has not received a target letter.” It is not clear what the investigation is about.
His home was raided earlier this year amid sex trafficking allegations. The same day that we learned of the investigation, Diddy was accused of sex trafficking in a lawsuit filed against him by a former employee.
