Daniel Dubois has set his sights on launching a new era in heavyweight boxing by defeating Anthony Joshua this weekend. Dubois will be making the first defence of the IBF title he was awarded after Oleksandr Usyk was forced to vacate it in June.
The Ukrainian made the decision to vacate the title after beating Tyson Fury the previous month. Joshua, on the other hand, has been the heavyweight division's pre-eminent fighter since turning professional in the wake of winning Olympic gold in 2012 and has rebuilt his career following defeats to Andy Ruiz Jr and Usyk.
