Voters in Croydon East have gone to the ballot box in the general election 2024. A new Member of Parliament is being elected for the Greater London constituency which includes the Croydon wards of Addiscombe East, Addiscombe West, New Addington North, New Addington South, Selsdon and Addington Village, Selsdon Vale and Forestdale, Shirley North, Shirley South and Woodside.

The seat has been reestablished for the 2024 general election after being abolished in 1955. It is comprised primarily of the now abolished Croydon Central constituency which was represented by Labour's Sarah Jones ahead of the election. Since the 2019 general election major boundary changes affecting 90% of Parliamentary constituencies have come into force. Ahead of the election, a Conservative government had been in power in Parliament since 2010.

Polls closed in the general election 2024 at 10pm on Thursday, July 4, with counts taking place overnight. Results from across the UK are expected in the early hours of Friday morning.
