Corrie favourite Jennie McAlpine has shared her simple weight loss tip that's helped her slim down. The soap star has dropped three dress sizes over the years and credits a game console for her achievement.
The mum-of-two revealed that playing the heart-pumping boxing game on the Wii console is what keeps her in great shape - as well as ditching crisps, ice cream and using "common sense".
The Coronation Street star has played Fiz Stape on the ITV soap since 2001, but has since left the cobbles, with her character being temporarily sent to Norfolk.Even though Jennie has worked hard for her impressive weight loss, she actually doesn't like to talk about body image and doesn't follow strict diet plans, Birmingham Live reports.Speaking about weight loss on Loose Women back in 2017, Jennie said: “On the front of the magazine was ‘Jennie McAlpine admits to us ‘I wish I had a gastric band.’” She went on: “I was so distressed.
I refuse to talk about it because I don’t want to be responsible for a young boy or young girl reading that."Jennie has undergone an incredible transformation over the years and she has told fans that getting into shape mostly by “common sense”.
