The actress is currently back on screens as Debbie Webster in the ITV soap after returning to the show back in 2020. Sue had spent 35 years away from the street, except for a brief return in 2019 when Debbie returned to Weatherfield after her Auntie Vi died and she had to attend the will reading.
She then returned again the following year and it later transpired she was working with Bistor sleaze Ray Crosby. And while Debbie is no stranger to flamboyant outfits and glam appearances on the cobbles, Sue ditched all of that to promote her latest role away from the long-running soap.
