Coronation Street legend Sue Nicholls has said she loves one of her co-stars 'to death' as she opened up about her life on the cobbles.

The actress has played hair stylist and former Weatherfield mayoress Audrey Roberts since 1979. But while everyone is likely to know Sue for her Corrie role, the star's TV debut actually came in another soap, Crossroads, as waitress Marilyn Gates back in 1964 - and she also achieved success musical success as a result of the show as her recording of the Crossroads theme tune, 'Where Will You Be?' reached Number 17 in the UK Singles Charts in July 1968.
