Last month, viewers of the ITV soap were distracted by the solicitor's unmoveable locks after he was mowed down in shock scenes.
After doing a deal with the evil Harvey Gaskell, played by Will Mellor, the gangster got his own back after the solicitor backed out of their agreement to get him out of jail in exchange for getting rid of half-brother Damon Hay - for good.
Having heard that Adam handed vital CCTV footage to the police which ruins his chances of an appeal, Harvey decided to hit both Adam and Damon where it hurts and sent one of his accomplices to the street to target Sarah and her daughter Bethany, making his presence felt.
