Coronation Street fans 'work out' Adam's revenge on Sarah amid her Damon affair

Two weeks on since rumbling the truth about Sarah Barlow’s affair with Damon Hay, things took a terrifying turn in Coronation Street as vengeful husband Adam Barlow set his master plan to destroy his love rival in motion.The previously mild-mannered lawyer quickly forgot his morals as he tracked down Damon’s former business associate gangster Niall on Friday, with Adam falsely claiming that Damon had intended to report Niall to the police!

Knowing the lie could very well cost Damon his life, Adam showed no qualms with his decision as he painted a twisted web of lies that told Niall that Damon was about to turn over his former associate in connection with their recent car theft insurance scam.

As regular fans will know, those that cross Niall very rarely live to tell the tale peacefully, with Paul Foreman very nearly having faced his wrath in the past after two men were hired to silence him, following his arrest over the scam.

Fortunately, Damon had been able to help him escape and instead faced a brutal beating himself as a result. Knowing from experience that Niall's fury could potentially be lethal, a terrified Damon attempted to flee Weatherfield as soon as the news reached him that his former associate was out for blood, but not before he discovered that Adam was the one that had effectively signed his death warrant by contacting the gangster at all.
