She was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but tragically died. A man inside the home also suffered a number of gunshots to his body while a woman was shot in the hand before the gunman fled the scene.

As the day has gone on following the devastating news, a little girl left her house holding up a heartbreaking sign, the Liverpool Echo reports.
