nme.comAphex Twin‘s previously unreleased song ‘th1 [evnslower]’ is now available on all streaming platforms for the first time. .Shared by Warp Records, ‘th1 [evnslower]’ is the second song to be shared from Aphex Twin’s expanded edition of ‘Selected Ambient Works II’ which is set for release on October 4.

It follows the previously released track ‘#19′ which was previously known as ‘Stone In Focus’ and was only available on vinyl.Released in 1994 as a follow-up to his debut LP ‘Selected Ambient Works 85–92’, ‘Selected Ambient Works Volume II’ differed from Aphex Twin’s previous work with its sound being mainly beatless.
Upon its release, the album earned the Number 11 spot on the UK Albums Chart and is considered to be the electronic musician’s acclaimed shift from ambient techno to darker ambient music.The reissue of Aphex Twin’s album will feature a fold-out poster, sticker sheet and booklet with artwork development sketches by Paul Nicholson.
