The Tale of the Princess Kaguya coming out on top.The list on the review aggregator site compiles the top films based on their critics scores on the site, with the criteria simply being “movies that were drawn and animated in Japan”.The list was unveiled to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the release of the 1988 classic Akira, directed by Katsuhiro Ohtomo, which comes in at number 26 on the list.The Tale of the Princess Kaguya was co-written and directed by Isao Takahata, adapted from a 10th century Japanese literary tale. Takahata, who co-founded Studio Ghibli in 1985 and passed away in 2018, also takes the second and third spots in the list, with 1991’s Only Yesterday and 1988’s Grave of the Fireflies, respectively.Fourth place goes to 2022’s The First Slam Dunk, directed by Takehito Inoue and based on his own manga series, whilst 2016’s Your Name is in fifth place.Check out the top 10 below:Hayao Miyazaki’s The Boy and the Heron lands at number 12 on the list, and is due to be released in UK cinemas on December 26.

Kodak Black has been arrested and charged with the possession of cocaine in California.According to AP, the rapper’s legal name (Bill Kapri) was listed in the Broward County jail. Along with cocaine possession, Kapri was also charged with improperly stopping or parking his vehicle and tampering with evidence.Kapri was also reportedly in custody on Thursday, and was bailed out of jail that same night.NME have reached out to his representatives for comment.Previously last year, Kapri was arrested on drug possession charges in Florida.

The Vaccines have shared their bright, guitar-forward new single ‘Love To Walk Away’ from their upcoming LP.Co-written by Andrew Wells (Halsey, Phoebe Bridgers), the track is the second single to be released from the band’s sixth album ‘Pick-Up Full Of Pink Carnations‘ which is set for release on January 12 via Thirty Tigers and follows the song ‘Sometimes, I Swear’. Knocked Loose have announced their return to the UK and Europe for a 2024 tour.The Kentucky metalcore band shared details of their upcoming tour on social media, also hinting at “special guests” that are soon to join the band. The tour will take place across February and March next year, with stops in Paris, Milan, Berlin, and London.The band recently released their two singles “Deep in the Willow” and “Everything is Quiet Now” back in June.

Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley has opened up about his “scary” hospitalisation following a pneumonia diagnosis.Back in September, the ‘Fat Lip’ singer was admitted to hospital with a pneumonia infection. His wife, Ariana, confirmed his hospitalisation on social media adding that it was on the day the couple were supposed to be in Chicago celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary.She explained that her husband would be kept in hospital for several days due to the risk of heart failure. Whibley had developed a cold after coming off tour with The Offspring, but it spiralled into COVID-19 and then pneumonia.Whibley was previously hospitalised in 2014 for severe liver and kidney damage caused by alcohol abuse.

Keanu Reeves’ Hollywood mansion was broken into by burglars in ski masks this week, taking one of his firearms in the process.On Wednesday (December 6), the Los Angeles Police Department received an anonymous call reporting that there were trespassers on the property at around 7pm.TMZ reported that multiple men in ski masks smashed a window and illegally entered the property.
