With Strictly Come Dancing heading to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom this weekend, it appears that dancing fever has well and truly taken over the seaside town.

Not only have Strictly fans been lining the streets in a chance to catch a rare sighting of this year’s professional dancers and celebrities, including Layton Williams, Ellie Leach and Bobby Brazier, but the dance show has also made its mark on Blackpool’s Christmas Markets.

Christmas By The Sea features a wide range of food and drinks stalls, alongside rides and attractions including a huge 100ft snow slide and a free skating rink and the seafront set-up officially got underway on Friday night (November 18) with the unveiling by Strictly professionals Graziano di Prima and Lauren Oakley.
