CCTV appeal after shoplifting at Waitrose supermarket

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to after thefts from a supermarket in Knutsford. At around 3:03pm on Saturday November 18th officers responded to reports of shoplifting at the Little Waitrose store on Princess Street in the town.

During the incident, an unknown man has exited the store without paying for a considerable quantity of meat products. Officers have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to these incidents.

PC John Milman, of Knutsford Neighbourhood Poliing Team, said: “Enquiries are currently ongoing and as part of our investigation, we would like to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image.

If anyone recognises this man, please contact us via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting IML-1694054. I would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to come forward.”
