Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard bombshell as they announce break from This Morning after short stint
ok.co.ukBen Shephard and Cat Deeley have announced they are taking a break from This Morning after joining as the show's new permanent hosts, telling viewers: "Thanks for having us." The pair were only appointed to the job in March but will now be off screens until September with a range of fill-in presenters including show favourite Craig Doyle taking their places on the series.
Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, who already host on Fridays, will begin the special summer shows from Monday July 15, with a mixture of tried-and-tested presenters taking their place.They include Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Rylan Clark, Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett.
Plus, Sian Welby will also return to This Morning after giving birth to daughter Ruby. Ben, who was previously a presenter on ITV's other daytime hit Good Morning Britain, and Cat have been hosting the show four days a week, from Monday to Thursday..
