The 30-year-old British athlete, who is married to Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, will be competing at the Olympics for the fourth time. Tom previously won a gold medal in 2020 and bronze medals in 2012, 2016, and 2020.
In a TikTok video, Tom jumped up and down on the cardboard beds to demonstrate the amount of weight they can withstand. Keep reading to find out more… “This is cardboard,” he said in the video while showing off the frame. “As you can see, it’s like a box.” While jumping on it he added, “As you can see, they’re pretty sturdy.” There has been speculation that the beds are made out of cardboard to prevent sexual activity, but some people believe they can.
