Katcy Stephan CAA is doubling down on its commitment to sports with the promotion of two key executives to leadership positions.

Alexa Cook has been named global co-head of CAA Sports property sales, while Rob DeAngelis was appointed Chief Revenue Officer of CAA Sports.

In her new role, Cook will work in partnership with Rob Slocum, who was named global co-head of CAA Sports property sales in 2021.

Together, Cook and Slocum will lead the agency’s property sales team, who work on behalf of clients including Formula 1, Oracle Red Bull Racing, LA Clippers, Riot Games, the Premier League and USTA.

Monster series will see Tom Hollander star as Alfred Hitchcock.Murphy recently announced that season three will star Charlie Hunnam as the 1950s serial killer Ed Gein. He became infamous when authorities discovered that he not only had killed multiple people, but had dug up graves from a cemetery near his home and fashioned all manner of household items and clothing from human remains.Now according to Variety, Hollander, Hacks star Laurie Metcalf and The Crown‘s Olivia Williams have been added to the cast.Metcalf will play Gein’s mother, Augusta, while Williams will play Alma Reville, Hitchcock’s wife.It is thought that because Gein served as one of the inspirations for Norman Bates and Hitchcock’s film Psycho, season three of the hit Netflix anthology will delve into how his crimes influenced the film and the novel upon which the movie was based.Hollander recently worked with Murphy on the second season of Feud as Truman Capote in the the series.Elsewhere, Murphy recently suggested that he might not be finished with Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.Following the news that a court hearing has been set for Erik and Lyle Menendez, and that new evidence that they were allegedly molested by their father is now being considered, Murphy has expressed an interest in extending the season.The show charts the brothers’ conviction and sentencing to life in prison for the first-degree murder of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, in 1989.Following its release Erik blasted Murphy in a statement, calling the show naive and inaccurate.

Ellise Shafer “In the Shadow of Her Majesty,” a new social impact play from actor-writer-director Lois Tallulah, has revealed an all-women cast ahead of its premiere in London next month. The work, which according to a press release aims to shine a light on the “invisible sentences of poverty and the prison system through the eyes of women,” will star Tallulah (“Bull,” “EastEnders”), Nancy Brabin-Platt (“Doctor Who”), Hiwet Zemelak (National Youth Theatre), Nadia Lamin (“Nahda” at Bush Theatre) and Jennifer Joseph (“Paradise” at the National Theatre and Netflix’s “Top Boy”).
