Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our personalised newsletter.Work is underway to install a new water bottle refill station outside Paisley Town Hall and Abbey as part of efforts to reduce plastic waste.Scottish Water confirmed a Top Up Tap is being put in place in Gauze Street at the moment which will help Buddies to stay hydrated on-the-go.It will form part of a nationwide network of 70 taps and a key part of the company’s Your Water Your Life campaign, which encourages people to use the tap to benefit the planet, their health and their pocket.Scottish Water said it cannot confirm an exact date when the tap will be switched on, but this will be done after samples are taken.Councillor Stephen Burns lodged.
