Bruce Willis' daughter, Tallulah, has shared an update on her dad's heartbreaking battle with dementia.Tallulah 29, who is the youngest child of the Die Hard actor and his ex-wife Demi Moore, appeared on The Drew Barrymore show on Wednesday as she opened up about his dementia diagnosis.
She explained how life had changed for the family but lovingly said: "He is the same, which I think in this regard I’ve learned is the best thing you can ask for." She continued: "I see love when I’m with him, and it’s my dad and he loves me, which is really special." It was in February 2023 that Bruce’s family announced in a statement that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) at the age of 67 - an uncommon form of dementia that causes problems with behaviour, personality and language.
Bruce officially retired from acting last year after his family revealed he had been diagnosed with the brain condition aphasia, which causes the patient's language abilities to deteriorate.
But in February they shared the devastating news that his illness had "progressed" and he had been diagnosed with dementia. The statement read: "Bruce has always found joy in life - and has helped everyone he knows to do the same. "It has meant the world to see that sense of care echoed back to him and to all of us.
