The BBC has launched a new quiz show hosted by comedian Jason Manford, but it seems not all viewers were impressed. In the show, contestants have a 50/50 chance to answer general knowledge questions within 90 seconds, with cash values attached to each question.
Teams must quickly select one of two answers as questions scroll down the screen, aiming to win significant cash prizes. During the first episode, Jason Manford introduced three pairs of contestants ready to try their luck.
Despite the excitement, some BBC viewers were left more than a little underwhelmed by the show's format, reports the Mirror.
Discontent was voiced on Twitter, with one viewer commenting: "Well, #TheAnswerRun has only been on for five mins and can already tell it's yet another cheaply made nonsense!
