BBC Strictly star’s life to be turned into Hollywood film as memoir rights bought

While we’re used to seeing the Strictly professional, 37, on TV every week on the BBC show, now we’ll see the South African-born star’s very own story take centre stage on the big screen, too.
His life story will be told as a movie after a film production company bought the rights to his memoir, ‘JoJo: Finally Home’.
Released this year and out today in paperback, the book tells Johanne’s rags-to-ballroom story, and now will be adapted into a movie.
Not only will it tell Johanne’s inspirational real-life story from growing up in South Africa with a passion for dance to becoming the star we know today, but Johannes himself will also choreograph the dance routines in the film.
