Paul Merson has reshared a message from his TV star pal who hit out at Strictly Come Dancing contestants who are 'trained dancers'.
There is rumbling row around the BBC One dance contest signing up celebrities who have past dance experience, even if not in ballroom and latin.
Broadcaster Jeff Stelling, who is best known for hosting Soccer Saturday for Sky Sports from 1994 until 2023, was among those to bring it up when it was confirmed that Paul was the latest contestant to leave the show.
The former football became the fourth celebrity to say their goodbyes to Strictly 2024 during Sunday night's (October 20) results show after he and dance partner Karen Hauer landed in the dreaded dance-off.
