BBC News frontman Huw Edwards has proven that age is just a number after showing off his newly ripped physique on Instagram, just weeks after teasing that he had to shed a few pounds ahead of The King's Coronation.The widely-adored news presenter has wowed his online followers with a brand new fitness routine which saw him shed a whopping three stone in 2019.
Having followed a strict diet and taken up some intense exercise, 61-year-old Huw left many of his fans feeling inspired by his urge to tone up, but ever modern, he claimed today that the weight had crept back on.
Speaking ahead of King Charles' ceremony today, the presenter told The Mirror: "I am going to have to lose a stone no question.
I am just a bit too tight around the waist. So maybe my boxing workouts will now have to go up to two a week… I am now down to one a week, as well as one run a week." Huw previously kept his online followers in the loop with his decision to shape up, documenting his physical progress on his personal Instagram account.The journalist has been training with former boxer Clinton McKenzie - with his Huw's increased interest in the sport playing a vital part in his weight loss.
