The bakery at the centre of a social media row with former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley has thanked supporters for their ‘solidarity’ over the matter.
Three Little Birds Bakery in Yorkshire made headlines after owner Rebecca Severs, from Keighley, shared a screenshot of an email from PR company NVRLND asking the small business to make 100 cupcakes for an unidentified 'well-known' celebrity’s birthday event.
In the email, which also asked for an additional smaller birthday cake for the celebrity’s husband, the PR company asked for the products in exchange for 'social media exposure'.
Other media reports later revealed the event revolved around Catherine. Try MEN Premium for FREE by clicking here for no ads, fun puzzles and brilliant new features. NVRLND later said the email had been ‘completely misconstrued’ and the arrangement would have covered the bakery’s expenses and costs.
