Catherine Tyldesley has spoken out after claims she had asked a baker to make 100 cakes for her birthday in exchange for 'social media exposure'.
A bakery owner has revealed that it declined a PR company's request on behalf of an unidentified 'well-known' celebrity asking for a cake for a 40th birthday party in September.
The initial report by the Daily Mail also claims Three Little Birds Bakery owner Rebecca Severs, from Keighley, was also requested by the PR company, NVRLND, to make 100 cupcakes and an extra smaller birthday cake for the celeb's husband.
While the bakery didn't name the celebrity, reports named Catherine, who is probably best known for having playing Eva Price in ITV's Corrie, as the celebrity in question - which she has since denied.
