Anthony Stewart has been ruled out for a number of weeks after picking up a freakish training ground injury while on loan at MK Dons.The Aberdeen skipper was sent on loan to the English League One side on transfer deadline day after interim manager Barry Robson sanctioned the exit.

Since arriving at Pittodrie in the summer the former Wycombe Wanderers centre-back failed to impress which led to calls from fans for him to be stripped of the captaincy and dropped from the team.
