In the dying weeks of Jim Goodwin's spell as manager he was sent off against St Mirren in the league, then in the semi-final loss to Rangers in the Viaplay Cup.The 30-year-old was denied an instant debut at MK Dons due to the suspension hanging over him.
Stewart is sweating on the extent of the unspecified injury that has sidelined him for even longer.
