Alison Hammond lands huge new TV role away from ITV after This Morning success

Alison Hammond is making waves in the TV world as she takes on a brand new role with the BBC, following her success on ITV's This Morning and Channel 4's The Great British Bake Off.

It has also been announced that she will replace the late Paul O’Grady as the host of ITV’s For The Love Of Dogs.The bubbly presenter is now set to switch it up with a move to the BBC for an exciting new series where she'll be spending 48 hours with various celebrities.

Called Alison Hammond's Big Weekend, the six-part show promises to be a riot of fun, offering a peek into the lives of well-known stars, peppered with plenty of giggles and jaw-dropping moments.The TV favourite expressed her enthusiasm, saying: "I'm so excited to serve up some big lols (laugh out louds) and tons of omg (oh my god) revelations on the BBC as I spend some quality time with some of the UK's favourite celebrities." She cheekily warned: "When I'm on a mission no secret is safe, and trust me no stone or cupboard will go unturned", reports the Mirror.

Alison, who first captured our hearts on Big Brother, is known for her Friday co-hosting slot on This Morning alongside Dermot O'Leary.
