Britain’s Got Talent never fails to surprise fans and as the popular competition returned to screens on Saturday night, 15 April, viewers were treated to an array of performances including keyboard playing by Darth Vader and a budding young magician.
Opening the show was Darth Vader who, staying in character, refused to actually converse with judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and newcomer Bruno Tonioli and could simply be heard breathing at them.
Evidently not going to tell them what his act actually was, the person behind the mask proceeded to play the keyboard for the judges – but failed to impress.
Another act who didn’t impress was TikTok sensation Jane who attempted to wow the judges with her unique movement routine. For the performance, Jane simply impersonated the images shown on the big screen including staplers and sourdough bread. The quirky act went down a treat with members of the studio audience, but sadly it failed to impress Simon who felt it was too niche for the show, and sadly refused to put Jane through to the next round – although he did thank her for coming out to audition.
