Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

BGT criticised for dangerous stunt on family show as man sets himself on fire

Britain's Got Talent fans were left far from impressed as one act set himself on fire to solve a Rubik's Cube on Sunday's edition of the family talent show.

During the episode, professional stuntman Thomas Vu doused himself in a fire-retardant gel before being set alight as he tried to solve the tricky puzzle.

The act went down a treat with Simon Cowell and his fellow judges as they gave him a standing ovation, while the rest of the audience also appeared super impressed with the act.

However, it was a different story for viewers at home, as they called out the show for turning to people setting themselves on fire "for entertainment". "Sorry, that's not a talent, that's stupidity.
