A mother and her two young children have spent seven months living in hotels and a flat after a masked man demolished the front of their home with a truck.

Just days earlier, the downstairs windows of the property were smashed by a hooded axeman. The brand new three-bedroom housing association property suffered major damage after the vehicle was reversed into it at speed and left embedded in the broken brick work.

Firefighters had to install temporary supports to ensure it did not collapse completely. But so far, no one has been charged with any offence. Mrs Keenan, 38, claims that the incident was preceded a few days before by the downstairs windows of her home being smashed by a hooded man using an axe, an attack which was caught on CCTV.
