The letter urges those in leadership positions to seek the best deal possible in their negotiations with major Hollywood studios. “A strike brings incredible hardships to so many, and no one wants it,” the letter reads. “But we are prepared to strike if it comes to that.
And we are concerned by the idea that SAG-AFTRA members may be ready to make sacrifices that leadership is not.” Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Rami Malek, Amy Schumer, Neil Patrick Harris, Ben Stiller, Quinta Brunson, and many other A-List stars have all signed the letter.
