Mayors of Salford joined patients at a women's mental health rehabilitation service during their summer carnival. The service Cygnet Lodge Salford on Radcliffe Park Crescent held a summer carnival last week which featured a variety of activities for inpatients.
Patients - along with staff and loved ones - were joined by The City of Salford Ceremonial Mayor, Gina Reynolds, and the Elected Mayor, Paul Dennett.
Other Salford City Councillors were also in attendance including Councillor Mishal Saeed, Executive Support Member for Social Care and Mental Health. Cygnet Health Care Hospital Manager Leigh Wilkinson, said: “They were really interested to learn of the work we are doing in partnership with the NHS to improve the lives of women in our care." The 24- bed high dependency rehabilitation service for women supports individuals with mental illness.
The service ran by Cygnet Health Care has been designed with wellness in mind and provides a safe and comfortable place to support rehabilitation and recovery.
