With many waking up to condensation amid freezing temperatures, some may be looking for cost-effective remedies.Experts recommend improving ventilation in a home but that's often easier said than done as you won't want to leave windows open in this weather.

However it's also not something that you should ignore as condensation can lead to damp and mould around a window frame.As reported by the Mirror Online, a woman has shared a quick solution which only put her back £3.50'.TikTok user @clairedouglasstyling took to social media to show off just how effective a cheap window insulation kit could prove to be.

The kit consisted of a clear sheet of film which 'stops the windows attracting condensation', according to the social media user.The woman wrote: "Room felt warmer, less heat loss = saving on bills, no condensation on windows, cheap, easy to fit, can open the window." In the clip, Claire shows the product before cutting to a clip of her windows which look clean and clear.

In a previous video she showed herself putting the sheet up,After taping around her window and cutting the sheet to size, Claire uses a hair dryer to heat the product so it shapes better to the window.
