Manchester United's journey in the Europa League will officially kick-off this week when they find out their opponents for the group phase.
This year, the Europa League is undergoing a significant change. The traditional group stages are being replaced with a league phase, meaning that a team's position in the league table will instead determine whether they progress into the knockout rounds.
United along with each team, will play eight league stage games, four at home and four away in a bid to finish as high as they can in the league table.
The top eight will automatically advance into the round-of-16 while teams finishing between ninth and 24th, qualify for the knockout play-off round.
