What to Watch the Week of May 26: The Grey's Anatomy Finale Is a “Fiery” End to Season 20
glamour.comGrey's Anatomy finale, which airs this Thursday. teased that things will come to a head when I spoke with her earlier this month. “We really pay off what we started in episode one," she says. "Interns being in trouble, Meredith doing this secret research.” (The “secret research” of course, refers to Meredith and Amelia teaming up behind Catherine's back to work on their controversial Alzheimer's research study.)The finale is titled “Burn It Down," and I can only hope that refers to Meredith and Amelia's attempt to take control of the status quo and not a literal fire.
But finales on Grey's Anatomy are never without major events, as we all know. When I spoke with Kevin McKidd (Owen), he said the episode was “fiery,” while Camilla Luddington (Jo) said things really “pay off” but the episode is not without cliffhangers.
So, we'll just have to tune in (which of course we will) and take comfort in the fact that Grey's will be back in a matter of months.Debbie Allen in the season 20 finale of Grey's Anatomy.Sadly, it's the end of the road for Station 19 tonight, much to the dismay of the show's passionate fan base.
No new photos from the episode were made available in advance given the “spoiler-y” nature of the finale, but what we do know is that the episode is titled “One Last Time” and the Station 19 team will be changed forever.
