Jimmy Fallon performed the ’80s hit ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ with Heart to mark yesterday’s solar eclipse.Yesterday (April 8), most of North America and Mexico witnessed the spectacle for the first time since 2017.
A total solar eclipse occurs when the moon lines up perfectly between the Earth and the sun, blocking out the sunlight. North America won’t see the celestial event again for 21 years.The popular late-night show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon featured a one-off performance in New York’s iconic Times Square to celebrate the natural phenomenon.
Heart was this week’s musical guest and joined the comedian on stage to sing the Bonnie Tyler classic.Fallon wore a curly mullet wig and ’80s-style visor sunglasses while rocking out with the ‘Barracuda’ hitmakers.
