Anyone heading off to sunny Spain on their holidays has been warned that there could be some nightlife rule changes on the horizon to be aware of.It's thought that new rules could come into force surrounding restaurants and bars to reshape opening times that are 'not reasonable'.This overhaul could end up reshaping the nightlife of Spain, according to Yolanda Díaz, Minister of Employment and Social Economy.
She spoke at the country's congress on Monday March 4, during which she proposed the possible opening hour changes. “A country that has its restaurants open at one in the morning is not reasonable.
It is crazy to try to continue extending hours until I don’t know what time," Diaz explained.Birmingham Live reports that not everybody agrees with this proposal.
Isabel Diaz Ayuso, the president of the Community of Madrid, said on X: “Spain has the best nightlife in the world, with streets full of life and freedom.
