Two West Lothian Council payment offices will close in March

Two council payment offices will be closed in March.Payment offices at the Jim Walker Partnership Centre in Bathgate and Arrochar House in Livingston will close on March 28.Customers will be able to make payments online or arrange for a regular direct debit payment to be set up.

Guidance for both options is available via the ‘Pay for it’ section of the West Lothian Council website.Customers can also continue with face to face transactions via PayPoint outlets or at Post Offices.

There are over 100 PayPoint retail outlets and Post Offices across West Lothian customers will be able to make and receive a payment at these locations as long as they have a rent or council tax payment card or a barcoded invoice/letter.These outlets offer customers increased flexibility and choice as to where and when they make/receive a payment, as well as longer opening hours.Payments can also be made via telephone by calling 01506 282407 and then choosing the relevant option.
