Follow OK! on Threads here:https://www.threads.net/@ok_mag After 14 years of being one of the chasers on the ITV gameshow The Chase, it seems that Mark Labbett is ready to put on his dancing shoes.

The 57 year old TV star, also known as "The Beast," is keen to join the BBC dance competition Strictly Come Dancing, according to his new girlfriend, Hayley Palmer. "He really wants to do Strictly," she told The Sun. "And I used to be a dancer as well, so I'd be able to help him." It comes after Mark said he had to completely change his diet after being diagnosed with diabetes in 2017, which led to him shedding 10 stone. "I think the diabetes may have helped because I eat a lot less and I drink a lot more fluids.

Plus I'm so busy these days," Mark said on Loose Women last year. The TV icon weighed 378lbs at his heaviest and has since overhauled his lifestyle - and his TV presenter partner couldn't be more proud of his transformation. "He looks incredible," she gushed to The Sun. "I'm so proud of him, he looks really good." Following weeks of a rumoured relationship, Mark and Hayley went public with their relationship in May this year after they were seen enjoying the sunshine on the beach in Southsea, Portsmouth.

Mark shared a selfie of him with Hayley, who is most known for hosting Sky TV music shows, on the seaside visit. He wrote: "At Southsea, oh I do like to be beside the seaside.
