Nádia Almada, who won the fifth series of Big Brother back in 2004, has shared that she's "excited" to return to the iconic house, as ITV is set to air a reboot of the reality show later this year. The former champ, 46, who was the first transgender person to appear on the show, has revealed that she, and a number of other former contestants may be appearing in the new series.

Speaking to The Mirror, she said: "I think that's the beauty of this memory of this experience on the show, it's the icon status. "I love the show, I would love for them to see us and to have us and kind of remember, the pioneers of the show and I think it's kind of becoming a full circle.

I've manifested it." Sharing her excitement at a potential return, she continued: "It's exciting they're considering bringing us back and it's sort of nostalgic, the transition from the original fanbase to bring in the most memorable housemates into the new series." Nádia then shared that she wants to return to the show to show "the kids how it's done", adding that her mum also loves the show and keeps telling her to take part in the Portuguese edition.

It comes after The Sun reported that “Nasty Nick” Bateman, Chanelle Hayes, and Nádia are just some of the former contestants who may be returning to the house.
