Per CBS parent company Paramount, the streaming average minute audience (AMA) for the premiere episode of the Steve Howey and Ginger Gonzaga-led series ranks as CBS’s third-largest premiere this season on both Paramount+ and CBS TVE. Ahead of “True Lies” are the premieres for the second season of comedy powerhouse “Ghosts,” which sits at No. 1 on the list of CBS’ streaming debuts of the 2022-2023 season, and freshman drama “Fire Country.” Debuting on CBS March 1, the first season of “True Lies” is averaging 4.6 million total linear viewers across its first four weeks, based on the “most current” data stream from Nielsen, which includes a week’s worth of delayed viewing where available. With two weeks of (mostly DVR) playback, the “True Lies” premiere episode has risen to 5.73 million viewers, up 77% from the episode’s Live + Same Day audience.

Apple TV+ has set Friday, June 9 for the premiere of The Crowded Room, its upcoming limited series created by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind). The festival’s 12th edition will also host conversations with the cast and crews of “Outlander,” “The Good Doctor,” “Primo,” “Jury Duty,” “Everyone Is Doing Great” and “The Righteous Gemstones.” The ATX TV festival is slated to run from June 1-4. “Justified: City Primeval” will pick up after 15 years since Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) left Kentucky, and extends the “Justified” universe. Based on Elmore Leonard’s novel “City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit,” the upcoming series premieres this summer on FX. Plumes of smoke were seen billowing at Bray Studios in Windsor where the second season of the Amazon Studios series is being filmed. Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service told the U..K.’s Metro newspaper: “At 12:26pm on Monday, 3 April, we received reports of a fire at Bray Studios near Windsor. At this time, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bracknell, Slough and Maidenhead Fire Stations have been sent to the scene. Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a single storey warehouse. Firefighters remain at the scene of the incident. Further updates will be provided when available.”
