Tesco has issued an urgent message to customers ahead of Halloween. It asked customers to not throw away any Halloween decorations they've got left lying around.
Instead, the supermarket said it wants to encourage them to reuse them each year. It comes after a survey revealed 40 per cent of families reuse their Halloween decorations.
To help push the message, Tesco is now plastering its own brand Halloween products with the message 'This product is reusable, please use it again next year'. It’s more sustainable and a simple way to save money.” Tesco has also pledged to reduce the amount of virgin plastic in its Halloween products by exclusively using recycled material in some products.
